Hi, my name is Judy Mousel and I'm looking forward to another fun year of teaching at Cambridge Public Schools. This is my 23rd year teaching elementary students with 21 of those years at CPS. Every year has been exciting and memorable, as I have been lucky teaching such wonderful children year after year! The community of Cambridge is lucky to have such enthusiastic students and parents. Thank you for the opportunity of allowing me to instruct, care for, and encourage your child to do their best daily.
I was born in Sterling, Colorado, but grew up right here in Cambridge, Nebraska. I have three wonderful children Amber, Brett, and Andrew as well as twin grandsons, Kobe and Jalen, and two granddaughters, Pailee and Crosby whom I absolutely adore.
Teaching is my passion and I was lucky enough to be awarded NTV's Outstanding Teacher of the Month in 2002 and McCook Area Educator of the Year in 2007. I coached volleyball for 11 years, and loved every minute of it. The teaching/coaching profession is a very rewarding and humbling experience and I'm proud to say..."I'm a teacher". :)
